The team at Gordon Contracting is experienced and skilled in the area of Construction Manager (CM) at Risk and will work diligently and professionally with all parties involved to ensure a successful result of your next project.
The Construction Manager’s responsibility is to the Owner and a successful project. With the CM approach the Project Owner has two contracts—one with the Designer and one with the Construction Manager.
The Construction Manager’s job is to skillfully manage the Designer and Subcontractors commensurate with the needs and requirements of the owner.
The CM at Risk collaborative process uses specialized project management techniques to manage the Planning, Design, and Construction of a project from inception to completion. Its role is to control a project’s time, cost, and quality.
To achieve this control, the CM leads a team of specialists. These specialists oversee all aspects of project management including:
- Design
- Cost Estimation
- Subcontractor Selection
- Value Engineering
- Scheduling, Safety, and Risk Assessment
